    Exercise 1. Listen and follow.

    ·Play the recording while the children follow the pictures in their books. Pause after picture 3 and ask Where’s Nick’s lunch box? Where is Kip? The children point at the pictures and say Yes, it’s here! or Yes, he’s here!

    ·Play the recording for pictures 4 and 5. Point to the map, then to the town and the farm on the map, and ask What’s this? Supply the answers.

    ·Point at the X marking a spot on the map. Ask What’s this? With a puzzled look on your face, and then supply the answer I don’t know.

Exercise 2. Ask your friend. Think.

    Look at the pictures. Choose a picture. Ask your friend. Take turns.
